Climate and agriculture

Climatology and agriculture-derived indices. Climate normals describe what is typical at a location for each calendar day — a 30-year base period, not a forecast. Growing degree days are computed on read from stored daily temperature extremes for a crop's thresholds.

A scheduling or farming integration reaches here to ask “is tomorrow warmer than usual?” or to track season-to-date heat units against a growth-stage milestone. Pair normals with the weather daily block when you want departure from typical.
