What We Build

We run a first-party weather data plane on top of NOAA and the National Weather Service, a public app, a weather agent, and a developer platform (REST API and hosted weather MCP). The GitHub community lives at smarterweather/developer.

Authoritative observations and models are public. The pipeline, the agent, and the published skill are ours.

Our Approach

We take raw government weather data and turn it into intelligence a person or an operation can act on — a brief that leads with what matters, a watch against your thresholds, tools an agent can call. Not a chatbot bolted onto a forecast page.

Three layers, one platform

Weather data for any software at the base — REST for traditional applications, MCP for agents, and an onboarding MCP so an agent can sign up and build on someone's behalf. A weather agent for judgment. Published skill and operations for accountability.

Source-model skill is live at /accuracy — each ingest scored against NOAA analysis, negative skill included. The blend we serve is not a row on that page.

We are building Weather Bench the same way — how well weather agents make decisions for real operations, graded against real past weather by fixed rules — and its results publish when the first full run is scored.
